Home Grown Lamb: Born on our farm.

We are offering freezer lamb in 2010. Our sheep are all Suffolk, Hampshire, or a cross between the two. They are on fresh pasture when the season allows and given shelter and all the hay they can eat during the colder months. We offer grain and a protein supplement to pregnant and growing animals. As part of our breeding program we are selecting for animals that do well without grain so that we can move towards a forage based feeding program.

The sheep are a joy to have around and the lambs are a lot of fun to watch. If you have children, or you're just a kid at heart, feel free to Contact Us to schedule a visit. The mama sheep can be convinced to eat from anyone's hand. We can even scoop up a wiggly little lamb for petting during the springtime.
